How does the app find duplicate and similar photos?

Clean up analyzes your photo library entirely on your device using advanced on-device algorithms that compare image content, size, and metadata. No photos are ever uploaded to a server. Similar photos (such as burst shots or near-identical pictures taken seconds apart) are grouped together so you can keep the best one and delete the rest.

Will deleting photos inside the app remove them permanently?

Photos deleted through Clean up are moved to your iPhone's Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, exactly the same as deleting from the Photos app directly. They stay there for 30 days before being permanently removed, giving you a safety net to recover anything deleted by mistake.

Does the app access or upload my photos to the internet?

No. All processing happens 100% on your device. Clean up never uploads, transmits, or stores your photos or videos on any external server. The app only requests Photos library access to scan and display content within the app itself.

How do I restore my purchase or subscription?

Open Clean up and go to Settings → Restore Purchase. Tap Restore and sign in with the same Apple ID you used to originally purchase the app. Your premium features will be unlocked automatically. If the issue persists, please contact us at gaminggeekstudio@gamil.com.

The app is not finding all my photos. What should I check?

Make sure Clean up has Full Access to your Photos library. Go to your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Clean up and select All Photos. Limited access only allows the app to see a subset of your library, which means some duplicates or large files may not appear in the scan results.
